KFC UK and Ireland's nutrition strategy is focused on three pillars:
- More choice for customers
- Nutritional improvement in our ingredients
- More transparency about product nutrition
Choice is the cornerstone of our nutrition strategy. We have trialled ‘lighten-up’ options and introduced ‘better for you’ products and we often trial new menu items to see how popular they are, adapting them as necessary.
Nutrition is being built into the early stages of our product development process and we are committed to improving nutritional values across our menu, and to helping customers clearly understand these values. We also take a responsible approach to our marketing and menu by providing a choice of products and portion sizes.
