KFC has been a vibrant and successful part of local communities across the UK for nearly 50 years and we know that our continued success is dependent upon ensuring that we benefit every community where we work. We believe that the behaviours and benefits of being a good neighbour can be readily quantified: we provide local jobs, training and careers; we pick up litter and help to keep the local area clean; we design new restaurants to be sensitive to local concerns, and build and maintain them to be modern, efficient, clean and environmentally sound. Our restaurants and sites are also regularly refurbished and operate to the highest health and environmental standards.

We’re also proud that our employees put much effort into raising money to support good causes, both locally near our restaurants and further afield. Our partnership training programme with Barnardo’s is transforming young lives and we’re actively developing schemes that will take our training and development expertise into the local community through Work Ready workshops. Our teams often partner with other business to tackle local issues such as litter and anti-social behaviour.
